Abilities / Skills: Christian has inherited all of his abilities from his mother, including her ‘world class telepathy’. His telepathic powers, again like his mother, range in a different variety of manners. From mind reading, to broadcasting thoughts, and even astral projection and altering perceptions and memories to an extent, the latter of which has yet to fully develop under his control. Also, like his mother, Christian can turn his entire body into organic diamond, from skin to organs. This gives him a high degree of resistance to physical attacks, impervious to others altogether, but the center of his chest ( where his diamond form is structurally flawed ) is vulnerable to attack from a high speed projectile made of either diamond or any other powerful material ( adamantium, vibranium etc ). While in this form, he is incapable of using his telepathic abilities at all.

Personality: If a child must favor any one parent in personality and looks, than Christian clearly leans more toward his mother. Inheriting Emma’s air of nobility, smarm, and more discreetly, her manipulative tendancies, Christian is obviously his mother’s son. The difference lies in the young man’s approach to others. For the most part he appears to be amiable and friendly with most -- though there are those that are not spared from the Frost brand of antagonizing -- there are actually a select few he would consider to be true friends, and the rest he views as ‘targets of opportunity’. Friends that are only as valuable as they might be useful to him. This is a byproduct of the time he spent with his Grandfather, a tyrant of a man who had more of an affect on Christian than he may have realized.

Still, that aspect is rarely seen, and besides perhaps those who are good enough judge of character to see that there lies something shady within his persona, Christian makes sure he comes off as the usual suave, charming, young man. His good looks definitely assist him in this category, which have also made him something of a habitual flirt and some might even say skirt chaser. He takes great pride in the fact he is a wealthy heir of his own making, and is also fairly vain about his dress style and appearance, but more than anything he is a fierce enemy. To those who would see him in such a role of course. Those he deems to be friends are protected fiercely, and any who pose a threat to them are dealt with discriminately.


History: Christian’s birth came at a strange time for his parents, a pairing that some had always seen as odd. Sean Cassidy and Emma Frost weren’t exactly what most would have envisioned as a likely duo, but following Christian’s arrival, it became known to everyone ( and maybe even to Emma and Sean themselves ) that they were meant for one another. A combination Emma’s self-made fortune and Sean’s own income assured that the boy was raised properly. Emma proved to be quite the loving and capable mother that some may have never imagined her to be. She spoiled Christian, to put it candidly. The boy would want for nothing if Emma could help it, be it her love or gifts.

However, this did not keep Emma from raising Christian into a strong and independent young man. Sean had his hand in his son’s life of course, but without a doubt it was the White Queen that spent most of her time with him, and it was she that Christian took after more. He started growing into an angel faced boy, a saint who could not possibly do any wrong. A fine façade, one that enabled him to win over adults’ hearts with smiles and boyish charm, meanwhile gathering their trust and feigning obliviousness while they gossiped, allowing him to learn their secrets and spread information just so that he could watch things escalate. A cheating spouse here, a slandering there, the boy was becoming quite a little manipulator even at his young age.

Just like mommy. It wasn’t exactly something Emma could beam over, not with all the trouble he’d been causing amongst neighbors and other adults, and certainly not while Sean clearly looked down on such behavior. By the boy’s 10th birthday, it became clear that a measure of discipline was in order. Sean insisted on dispatching the boy to boarding school to keep him out of trouble, and despite initial protests Emma eventually agreed that it might have done Christian some good to stay out of trouble. As a result, he attended an influential school in Boston, Massachusetts.

Whether he was back home or not, Christian still proved that he could wield charisma like a weapon, rallying numerous boys into his own little clique and socially stampeding upon any of his rivals at school. After his first school year was over, Christian discovered that his Grandfather Winston Frost - whom had disowned Emma long since and disapproved of Sean - was still alive. He started taking an interest in the elderly man, and despite the fact Winston turned the boy away frequently, he persisted in trying to open the man’s cold, domineering heart. At last, a challenge. Over time Christian managed the impossible, to melt his ruthless Grandfather’s heart enough for him to accept him, the offspring of his ungrateful mutant daughter and her foreign lover. Much to Emma’s dismay, Christian preferred to start spending summers with her father rather than her, back at home.

The relationship between grandson and grandfather was a strange one, the boy didn’t so much as love the man as much as he simply respected him. As time went on, Winston’s attitude toward Christian became more stern. He started to treat him more like a son than a Grandson, hoping to mold him in his image. Ironically, he’d failed to do this with his own son years ago, Christian Frost, Emma’s brother and the man the boy was named after. Winston started to hold his Grandson to impossible standards, chastising him verbally and sometimes even trying to humiliate him in an effort to make him stronger. Christian started to resent this overtime. Now seeing what had driven Emma and Winston apart, he sought a means to get back at his Grandfather by separating him from his vast fortune.

He found a way to do just that when his first mutation triggered, sharing his mother’s ability of telepathy. A tool he fashioned and refined over the school year, and finally used on his Grandfather that summer, buy ‘convincing’ the man to make him his legal heir. With the deed done, Christian’s visits became fewer and fewer, returning to his parents to spend more time and developing his other mutant abilities. It wasn’t until after Winston’s natural death that Emma and Sean would discover that their son would inherit the Frost fortune when he hit Seventeen, and the means he accomplished this. Without a doubt, this alarmed the two, and warranted them to enroll their son in Xavier’s school, an institution they’d soon inherit themselves. Learning and growing along with his powers, Christian continues to develop into a superficially charming young man whose silver tongue rivals his mother’s own. Unbeknownst to his family and friends, Christian now has been using his inheritance to fund a secret organization on the side.
